RAPE.
One of the ugliest words on the face of the earth. Very few violent crimes in the world have the same emotional, psychological or even physical implications as does rape. Today, in North America, most rapes are not even reported. Over 80% of rapes happen to women by someone they know! The statistics are startling and it could happen to you: anytime, anywhere, anyplace to anyone......man, woman or child. One of our biggest concerns in promoting the Rape Self Awareness Defense ( R.S.A.D. ) program is complacency: " It won't happen to me". Unfortunately, no one is exempt. Too often, woman let their guard down, become to trusting and end up being a statistic.
Rape is about power and control, not about sex or gratification. The rapist
view's his penis as a weapon to demean, demoralize and humiliate.
You will learn about:
- types of rapists
- myths and facts
- statistics
- violent acts that lead to rape
- personal protection programs
- self preservation techniques
- and a lot more
We will be the first to recognize that all types of sexual deviant conduct
are wrong. Any type of forced, nonconsensual sexual act has extremely damaging effects. Child molestation, incest, domestic abuse, sodomy, male rape, prison rape, illicit inappropriate behavior and stalking are all wrong. This program specifically
deals with rape against women by men. While much information is presented here that will transfer to these other areas, we are very specific in our scope.
This program is designed to empower women with confidence, awareness, knowledge
and even physical technique to reduce the occurrence of rape. Our job, as RSAD Instructors, is to provide you with tools to live confidently and securely.
To that end, we gladly present to you these empowerment materials.
We strongly encourage you to take advantage of the R.S.A.D. program. Contained within these pages is the majority of information and techniques that would be available to you if you attended an 8 hour seminar or workshop. Investing your time for only $50 could be the most important investment you will ever make.
EFFECTIVE TRAINING GUIDELINES
- CHOOSE SHORT, intensive martial arts courses unless you plan to train for several years.
- ALWAYS ASK to see the instructor's credentials.
- INSIST on instructors experienced in women's self defense training programs and combat art.
- SELECT courses with male instructors; they will better duplicate a male assailant attack.
- ATTEND AND OBSERVE
a class before committing.
Be sure the techniques used are within
your capabilities.
- AVOID
programs that depend on the use of weapons, uniforms or props.
- COMMIT 100% to your chosen program.

SAFETY DEPENDS ON IT!!!"
